Belinda Owusu obtained her Associate degree in Nursing from Marymount University (1997) and later received her RN BSN from George Mason University (1999). Since then, she has worked in Cardiac Intensive Care, Hospice, and the Emergency Department in several institutions including INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Geisinger Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Newark Beth Israel Hospital, and St. Barnabas Hospital.
Her clinical and academic experience offers her the opportunity to serve as a mentor to new graduates, and as a preceptor to nursing students as they go through clinical rotations. Belinda currently resides in Pennsylvania with her family, and is employed at Geisinger Medical Center. She has certifications in both pediatric, adult advanced cardiac, and life support. She is a member of both the Pennsylvania Nursing Society, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
